In Friday's league outing, the Cristo Rey Royals (Richmond, VA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Veritas School Lions (Richmond, VA), by a margin of 64-39.
The Royals (5-10) will now prepare for their outing against Christchurch School (Christchurch, VA). The Seahorses go into the non-league outing with a 3-9 record. In their last outing, Christchurch School was trounced by St. Michael the Archangel (Fredericksburg, VA), 57-52, in a non-league outing.
The Lions now own a 5-4 record. They play next when they travel to Veritas Collegiate Academy for a non-league outing on Tuesday, January 17. Veritas School will clash with a Spartans squad coming off a 69-68 non-league loss to Fredericksburg Christian (Fredericksburg, VA). The Spartans record now stands at 9-4.
