Cypress Centurions (Cypress, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Kennedy Fighting Irish (La Palma, CA), 61-26 in a league bout.

With the win, Cypress upgrades its record to 10-10 on the season. The Centurions host Crean Lutheran (Irvine, CA) to clash with the Saints in a Empire bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Saints go into the bout with a record of 13-5. Crean Lutheran won 63-45 in their recent league bout against Pacifica (Garden Grove, CA)

Next up, the Fighting Irish clash with the Valencia Tigers (Placentia, CA) in a Empire bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Kennedy will attempt to upgrade on its 3-15 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 5-15 record after their 53-23 league loss to Tustin (Tustin, CA).
