In Friday's league outing, the Darlington Tigers (Rome, GA) basketball squad edged the host Dalton Academy Pumas (Dalton, GA), by a count of 1-0.
The Tigers (15-2) will now prepare for their outing against Pepperell (Lindale, GA). The Dragons go into the A D1 Region 7 outing with a 6-9 record. In their last outing, Pepperell held off Mt. Zion (Mt. Zion, GA), 57-56, in a non-league outing.
