Iowa High School Basketball - Danville can't hold off Mediapolis

The Mediapolis Bulldogs basketball team scored 54 points and restricted the host Danville Bears to 53 in the Bulldogs non-league victory on Friday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Burlington for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 14. Mediapolis will battle a Grayhounds team coming off a 63-46 non-league win over Fort Madison (Fort Madison, IA). The Grayhounds record now stands at 12-3.
The Bears (10-4) will now prepare for their contest against H-L-V (Victor, IA). The Warriors come into the non-league contest with a 6-6 record. In their last contest, H-L-V edged Belle Plaine (Belle Plaine, IA), 47-38, in a league contest.
