D.C. Everest Evergreens (Schofield, WI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Merrill Bluejays (Merrill, WI), 84-61 in a league bout.

With the win, D.C. Everest upgrades its record to 10-3 on the season. The Evergreens travel to Eau Claire North (Eau Claire, WI) to clash with the Huskies in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Huskies go into the bout with a record of 1-10. Eau Claire North lost 62-32 in their recent league bout against Hudson (Hudson, WI)

Next up, the Bluejays clash with the Northland Pines Eagles (Eagle River, WI) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Merrill will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 9-3 record after their 54-10 league win over Antigo (Antigo, WI).
