The Mt. Carmel Sundevils basketball team (San Diego, CA), was overwhelmed 62-33 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Del Norte Nighthawks (San Diego, CA)
The Nighthawks now possess a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rancho Bernardo for a Avocado battle on Wednesday, January 18. Del Norte will confront a Broncos team coming off a 74-57 non-league win over Madison (San Diego, CA). The Broncos record now stands at 10-9.
The Sundevils (9-9) will now prepare for their battle against Canyon Crest Academy (San Diego, CA). The Ravens come into the non-league battle with a 12-5 record. In their last battle, Canyon Crest Academy trounced Ramona (Ramona, CA), 59-52, in a league battle.
