The Dinwiddie Generals basketball team scored 69 points and held the host Meadowbrook Monarchs to 55 in the Generals league triumph on Friday.
The Generals now sport a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Caroline for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 14. Dinwiddie will battle a Cavaliers team coming off a 70-53 league win over James Monroe (Fredericksburg, VA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 6-5.
The Monarchs (2-11) will now prepare for their contest against Matoaca (Chesterfield, VA). The Warriors enter the Central contest with a 10-2 record.
