East Granby Crusaders (East Granby, CT) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting East Windsor Panthers (East Windsor, CT), 52-45 in a league bout.

With the win, East Granby upgrades its record to 2-7 on the season. The Crusaders travel to Coventry (Coventry, CT) to play the Patriots in a North Central Connecticut bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 6-4. Coventry won 53-44 in their recent league bout against Ellington (Ellington, CT)

Next up, the Panthers play the Canton Warriors (Canton, CT) in a North Central Connecticut bout, on Tuesday, January 17. East Windsor will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 4-5 record after their 56-42 league win over Granby Memorial (Granby, CT).
