Trinity Raiders (Whitesville, KY) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Edmonson County Wildcats (Brownsville, KY), 58-42 in a league bout.

With the win, Trinity upgrades its record to 8-5 on the season. The Raiders host Crittenden County (Marion, KY) to clash with the Rockets in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 14. The Rockets go into the bout with a record of 5-5. Crittenden County won 63-44 in their recent non-league bout against Caldwell County (Princeton, KY)

Next up, the Wildcats clash with the Apollo Eagles (Owensboro, KY) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 14. Edmonson County will attempt to upgrade on its 9-5 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 3-12 record after their 54-53 league loss to Daviess County (Owensboro, KY).
