The Maurepas Wolves (Maurepas, LA) basketball crushed the visiting False River Gators (New Roads, LA), 69-46 in Friday's non-league test.
The Wolves (3-9) will now prepare for their test against Mt. Hermon (Mt. Hermon, LA). The Yellowjackets go into the B District 7 test with a 1-3 record.
The Gators now own a 2-12 record. They play next when they travel to Westminster Academy for a 1A District 6 test on Tuesday, January 17. False River will encounter a Crusaders squad coming off a 70-35 league win over St. Edmund (Eunice, LA). The Crusaders record now stands at 6-3.
