The Field Kindley Golden Tornado basketball team scored 55 points and restricted the visiting Fort Scott Tigers to 43 in the Golden Tornado non-league victory on Friday.
The Golden Tornado now sport a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Emporia for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 19. Field Kindley will battle a Spartans team coming off a 52-39 non-league loss to Junction City/St. Xavier (Junction City, KS). The Spartans record now stands at 8-2.
The Tigers (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Girard (Girard, KS). The Trojans come into the non-league contest with a 3-2 record.
