Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Laguna Blanca Owls (Santa Barbara, CA) and the visiting Foothill Tech Dragons (Ventura, CA), saw Laguna Blanca's basketball squad knock off Foothill Tech by a count of 73-61.

With the victory, Laguna Blanca upgrades its record to 6-5 on the campaign. The Owls travel to Grace Brethren (Simi Valley, CA) to play the Lancers in a Frontier challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Lancers come into the challenge with a record of 3-5. Grace Brethren won 61-21 in their recent non-league challenge against Magnolia Science Academy Reseda (Reseda, CA)

Next up, the Dragons play the Dunn Earwigs (Los Olivos, CA) in a Frontier challenge, on Saturday, January 14. Foothill Tech will attempt to upgrade on its 8-12 season record. The Earwigs come into the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 72-58 league win over Villanova Prep (Ojai, CA).
