Natomas Nighthawks (Sacramento, CA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Foothill Mustangs (Sacramento, CA), 69-39 in a league bout.

With the victory, Natomas upgrades its record to 10-9 on the campaign. The Nighthawks host Cordova (Rancho Cordova, CA) to play the Lancers in a Greater Sacramento bout on Wednesday, January 18. The Lancers come into the bout with a record of 10-4. Cordova lost 63-53 in their recent non-league bout against Fortune Early College (Sacramento, CA)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Burbank Titans (Sacramento, CA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 14. Foothill will attempt to upgrade on its 5-7 season record. The Titans come into the bout with a 8-11 record after their 73-51 league loss to Grant (Sacramento, CA).
