Northview Wildcats (Grand Rapids, MI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Forest Hills Central Rangers (Grand Rapids, MI), 55-41 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Northview upgrades its record to 7-1 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Hyde Park (Chicago, IL) to play the Thunderbirds in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 14. The Thunderbirds go into the bout with a record of 15-3. Hyde Park lost 68-50 in their recent league bout against Simeon (Chicago, IL)

Next up, the Rangers play the Greenville Yellow Jackets (Greenville, MI) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 20. Forest Hills Central will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Yellow Jackets go into the bout with a 4-4 record after their 58-42 league loss to Byron Center (Byron Center, MI).
