Mundy's Mill Tigers (Jonesboro, GA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Forest Park Panthers (Forest Park, GA), 72-63 in a league bout.

With the victory, Mundy's Mill upgrades its record to 10-5 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Alcovy (Covington, GA) to play the Tigers in a AAAAAA Region 3 bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 7-11. Alcovy lost 72-61 in their recent league bout against Mundy's Mill (Jonesboro, GA)

Next up, the Panthers play the Rockdale County Bulldogs (Conyers, GA) in a AAAAAA Region 3 bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Forest Park will attempt to upgrade on its 5-12 season record.
