McDowell Trojans (Erie, PA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Fort LeBoeuf Bison (Waterford, PA), 87-53 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, McDowell upgrades its record to 9-3 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Cathedral Prep (Erie, PA) to play the Ramblers in a District 10 Region 6 bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Ramblers come into the bout with a record of 11-2.

Next up, the Bison play the General McLane Lancers (Edinboro, PA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Fort LeBoeuf will attempt to upgrade on its 1-10 season record. The Lancers come into the bout with a 5-5 record after their 62-50 league loss to Cathedral Prep (Erie, PA).
