Texas High School Basketball - Frisco can't hold off Reedy

The Reedy Lions basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Frisco Raccoons to 55 in the Lions league triumph on Friday.

The Lions now sport a 14-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wakeland for a 5A Region II District 9 contest on Tuesday, January 17. Reedy will battle a Wolverines team coming off a 64-45 league win over The Colony (The Colony, TX). The Wolverines record now stands at 20-4.

The Raccoons (9-10) will now prepare for their contest against Newman Smith (Carrollton, TX). The Trojans enter the 5A Region II District 9 contest with a 15-5 record. In their last contest, Newman Smith nudged Creekview (Carrollton, TX), 78-44, in a league contest.
