The Roosevelt Rough Riders (Los Angeles, CA) basketball nipped the visiting Garfield Bulldogs (Los Angeles, CA), 38-34 in Friday's league test.
The Rough Riders (8-10) will now prepare for their test against Granada Hills Charter (Granada Hills, CA). The Highlanders go into the non-league test with a 4-13 record. In their last test, Granada Hills Charter was tipped by Taft (Woodland Hills, CA), 78-52, in a league test.
The Bulldogs now own a 13-4 record. They play next when they travel to Jordan for a non-league test on Saturday, January 14. Garfield will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 57-10 league win over Harbor Teacher (Wilmington, CA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-3.
