Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Germantown Academy knocked off by Malvern Prep

The Malvern Prep Friars basketball team scored 70 points and held the visiting Germantown Academy Patriots to 58 in the Friars league triumph on Friday.
The Friars now sport a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host William Penn Charter for a Inter-Academic contest on Tuesday, January 17. Malvern Prep will meet a Quakers team coming off a 73-55 non-league win over Frankford (Philadelphia, PA). The Quakers record now stands at 12-1.
The Patriots (2-8) will now prepare for their contest against Carver High School of Engineering & Science (Philadelphia, PA). The enter the non-league contest with a 6-8 record. In their last contest, Carver High School of Engineering & Science was outscored by Paul Robeson (Philadelphia, PA), 54-53, in a league contest.
