The Huntingdon Mustangs basketball team scored 74 points and held the visiting Gleason Bulldogs to 45 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Friday.
The Mustangs now sport a 8-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Milan for a 2A District 12 contest on Tuesday, January 17. Huntingdon will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 47-40 league loss to Gibson County (Dyer, TN). The Bulldogs record now stands at 12-4.
The Bulldogs (1-11) will now prepare for their contest against Greenfield (Greenfield, TN). The Yellowjackets enter the 1A District 13 contest with a 9-8 record. In their last contest, Greenfield triumphed over South Fulton (South Fulton, TN), 39-37, in a league contest.
