Georgia High School Basketball - Putnam County crushes Glenn Hills

January 13, 2023: Augusta, GA 30906

Putnam County War Eagles (Eatonton, GA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Glenn Hills Spartans (Augusta, GA), 93-43 in a league bout.

With the win, Putnam County upgrades its record to 13-3 on the season. The War Eagles travel to Jasper County (Monticello, GA) to play the Hurricanes in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 14. The Hurricanes go into the bout with a record of 7-6.

Next up, the Spartans play the Washington County Golden Hawks (Sandersville, GA) in a AA Region 4A bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Glenn Hills will attempt to upgrade on its 1-12 season record. The Golden Hawks go into the bout with a 4-9 record after their 55-49 league loss to Laney (Augusta, GA).
