In Friday's league outing, the MacArthur Generals (Decatur, IL) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Glenwood Titans (Chatham, IL), by a count of 66-38.

The Generals (17-1) will now prepare for their outing against Springfield (Springfield, IL). The Senators go into the Central State Eight outing with a 8-13 record. In their last outing, Springfield smashed Jefferson (Rockford, IL), 70-53, in a non-league outing.

The Titans now hold a 8-11 record. They play next when they travel to Springfield Southeast for a Central State Eight outing on Tuesday, January 17. Glenwood will clash with a Spartans squad coming off a 71-54 non-league loss to Evansville Harrison (Evansville, IN). The Spartans record now stands at 10-10.
