Texas High School Basketball - Granger ripped by Holland

The Holland Hornets basketball team scored 73 points and held the host Granger Lions to 52 in the Hornets league triumph on Friday.

The Hornets now sport a 11-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bartlett for a 2A Region IV District 27 contest on Tuesday, January 17. Holland will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 43-42 league win over Granger (Granger, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-8.

The Lions (4-10) will now prepare for their contest against Hearne (Hearne, TX). The Eagles enter the 2A Region IV District 27 contest with a 10-5 record. In their last contest, Hearne triumphed over Thorndale (Thorndale, TX), 46-44, in a league contest.
