The Willamette Wolverines basketball team (Eugene, OR), was routed 54-19 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Grants Pass Cavemen (Grants Pass, OR)
The Cavemen now sport a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Medford for a 6A Southwest battle on Tuesday, January 17. Grants Pass will battle a Panthers team coming off a 43-41 league win over Sheldon (Eugene, OR). The Panthers record now stands at 7-4.
The Wolverines (6-8) will now prepare for their battle against South Eugene (Eugene, OR). The Axe come into the 6A Southwest battle with a 7-6 record. In their last battle, South Eugene was routed by North Medford (Medford, OR), 68-59, in a league battle.
