Greenbrier West Cavaliers (Charmco, WV) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Meadow Bridge Wildcats (Meadow Bridge, WV), 73-35 in a league challenge.

With the victory, Greenbrier West improves its record to 2-6 on the campaign. The Cavaliers travel to Midland Trail (Hico, WV) to confront the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 5-1. Midland Trail won 62-46 in their recent non-league challenge against Sherman (Seth, WV)

Next up, the Wildcats confront the Clay County Panthers (Clay, WV) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 3. Meadow Bridge will attempt to improve on its 2-8 season record.
