The Greenup County Musketeers basketball team (Greenup, KY), was toppled 52-44 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Russell Red Devils (Russell, KY)

The Red Devils now possess a 15-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Menifee County for a non-league battle on Monday, January 16. Russell will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 53-46 non-league win over West Carter (Olive Hill, KY). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-8.

The Musketeers (3-9) will now prepare for their battle against Green (Franklin Furnace, OH). The Bobcats come into the non-league battle with a 11-3 record. In their last battle, Green beat Western (Latham, OH), 63-54, in a league battle.
