Virginia High School Basketball - Sherando tops Handley

Sherando Warriors (Stephens City, VA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Handley Judges (Winchester, VA), 76-61 in a league bout.
With the victory, Sherando upgrades its record to 11-4 on the campaign. The Warriors host Kettle Run (Nokesville, VA) to play the Cougars in a Northwestern bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Cougars come into the bout with a record of 7-5. Kettle Run won 41-37 in their recent league bout against Fauquier (Warrenton, VA)
Next up, the Judges play the Fauquier Falcons (Warrenton, VA) in a Northwestern bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Handley will attempt to upgrade on its 5-9 season record. The Falcons come into the bout with a 4-12 record after their 41-37 league loss to Kettle Run (Nokesville, VA).
