The Shields Valley Rebels basketball team (Clyde Park, MT), was overwhelmed 71-28 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Harlowton/Ryegate Engineers (Harlowton, MT)
The Engineers now possess a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Broadview/Lavina for a C District 5 battle on Saturday, January 14. Harlowton/Ryegate will confront a Pirates team coming off a 63-59 league win over Melstone (Melstone, MT). The Pirates record now stands at 6-1.
The Rebels (1-6) will now prepare for their battle against White Sulphur Springs (White Sulphur Springs, MT). The Hornets come into the C District 12 battle with a 0-7 record. In their last battle, White Sulphur Springs was overwhelmed by West Yellowstone (Yellowstone, MT), 61-14, in a league battle.
