The Haverford School Fords basketball team scored 51 points and held the visiting Springside Chestnut Hill Academy Blue Devils to 50 in the Fords league triumph on Friday.

The Fords now sport a 8-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Germantown Academy for a Inter-Academic contest on Tuesday, January 17. Haverford School will meet a Patriots team coming off a 65-28 non-league win over Carver High School of Engineering & Science (Philadelphia, PA). The Patriots record now stands at 3-8.

The Blue Devils (11-4) will now prepare for their contest against Hun (Princeton, NJ). The Raiders enter the non-league contest with a 3-4 record. In their last contest, Hun was nudged by Shipley (Bryn Mawr, PA), 46-41, in a non-league contest.
