North Carolina High School Basketball - Manteo thwarted by Hertford County

The Manteo Redskins basketball team (Manteo, NC), dropped 69-54 in Friday's league battle with the host Hertford County Bears (Ahoskie, NC)

The Bears now possess a 10-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bertie for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 14. Hertford County will confront a Falcons team coming off a 53-51 league win over Washington County (Plymouth, NC). The Falcons record now stands at 11-3.

The Redskins (10-3) will now prepare for their battle against Holmes (Edenton, NC). The Aces come into the 2A/3A Conference 15 battle with a 7-8 record.
