Higbee Tigers (Higbee, MO) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Northwestern Eagles (Mendon, MO), 62-48 in a league bout.

With the win, Higbee upgrades its record to 14-1 on the season. The Tigers host Hardin-Central (Hardin, MO) to play the Bulldogs in a CLAA bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 6-8. Hardin-Central won 72-59 in their recent league bout against Hale (Hale, MO)

Next up, the Eagles play the Meadville Eagles (Meadville, MO) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 20. Northwestern will attempt to upgrade on its 5-2 season record.
