North Carolina High School Basketball - Southern Guilford trounces High Point Central

The Southern Guilford Storm (Greensboro, NC) basketball crushed the visiting High Point Central Bison (High Point, NC), 62-38 in Friday's league test.

The Storm (13-3) will now prepare for their test against Northeast Guilford (McLeansville, NC). The Rams go into the 3A Conference 46 test with a 5-10 record. In their last test, Northeast Guilford was trounced by Ben L. Smith (Greensboro, NC), 87-61, in a league test.

The Bison now own a 1-16 record. They play next when they travel to Dudley for a 3A Conference 46 test on Friday, January 20. High Point Central will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 50-37 league win over Eastern Guilford (Gibsonville, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 13-3.
