The Simley Spartans basketball team scored 76 points and held the visiting Hill-Murray Pioneers to 46 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Friday.
The Spartans now sport a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tartan for a non-league contest on Friday, January 13. Simley will battle a Titans team coming off a 70-62 non-league win over Simley (Inver Grove Heights, MN). The Titans record now stands at 3-4.
The Pioneers (1-8) will now prepare for their contest against North (North St. Paul, MN). The Polars enter the non-league contest with a 2-7 record. In their last contest, North was routed by Two Rivers (Mendota Heights, MN), 70-68, in a non-league contest.
