The Hirschi Huskies basketball team scored 72 points and held the host Sanger Indians to 39 in the Huskies league triumph on Friday.

The Huskies now sport a 8-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Central Texas Academy for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 17. Hirschi will battle a Pioneers team coming off a 67-36 non-league win over International Leadership of Texas Keller (Fort Worth, TX). The Pioneers record now stands at 15-9.

The Indians (14-12) will now prepare for their contest against Gainesville (Gainesville, TX). The Leopards enter the 4A Region I District 7 contest with a 17-7 record. In their last contest, Gainesville triumphed over Wichita Falls (Wichita Falls, TX), 53-47, in a league contest.
