The Hodgeman County Longhorns basketball team scored 45 points and held the visiting Ingalls Bulldogs to 33 in the Longhorns non-league triumph on Friday.

The Longhorns now sport a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Minneola for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 17. Hodgeman County will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 44-32 non-league win over Ashland (Ashland, KS). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-3.

The Bulldogs (3-7) will now prepare for their contest against Spearville (Spearville, KS). The Lancers enter the Southern Plains-Iroquois contest with a 4-5 record. In their last contest, Spearville was defeated by South Central (Coldwater, KS), 65-32, in a non-league contest.
