North Carolina High School Basketball - Hoke County can't hold off Pinecrest

January 13, 2023: Raeford, NC 28376

The Pinecrest Patriots basketball team scored 64 points and restricted the host Hoke County Bucks to 61 in the Patriots league victory on Friday.

The Patriots now sport a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Apex Friendship for a non-league contest on Monday, January 16. Pinecrest will battle a Patriots team coming off a 63-43 league loss to Green Level (Cary, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 10-6.

The Bucks (6-12) will now prepare for their contest against Scotland (Laurinburg, NC). The Fighting Scots come into the 3A/4A Conference 24 bout with a 12-2 record.
