The Homewood Patriots (Homewood, AL) basketball crushed the host Parker Thundering Herd (Birmingham, AL), 68-43 in Friday's league test.
The Patriots (13-9) will now prepare for their test against Minor (Adamsville, AL). The Tigers go into the 6A Area 9 test with a 3-8 record.
The Thundering Herd now own a 5-11 record. They play next when they travel to Paul W. Bryant for a non-league test on Monday, January 16. Parker will encounter a Stampede squad coming off a 53-48 league loss to Northridge (Tuscaloosa, AL). The Stampede record now stands at 11-8.
