Lander Valley Tigers (Lander, WY) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Hot Springs County Bobcats (Thermopolis, WY), 52-43 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Lander Valley upgrades its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Mountain View (Mountain View, WY) to play the Buffalos in a 3A Southwest bout on Friday, January 20. The Buffalos come into the bout with a record of 2-10. Mountain View lost 36-35 in their recent non-league bout against Rawlins (Rawlins, WY)

Next up, the Bobcats play the Wyoming Indian (Ethete, WY) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 13. Hot Springs County will attempt to upgrade on its 3-8 season record. The come into the bout with a 5-5 record after their 75-56 non-league loss to Lovell (Lovell, WY).
