The Jemison Panthers basketball team (Jemison, AL), was routed 51-25 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Shelby County Wildcats (Columbiana, AL)
The Wildcats now sport a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Vincent for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 17. Shelby County will battle a Yellow Jackets team coming off a 54-49 league win over Altamont (Birmingham, AL). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 12-4.
The Panthers (8-11) will now prepare for their battle against Sylacauga (Sylacauga, AL). The Aggies come into the 5A Area 8 battle with a 11-10 record. In their last battle, Sylacauga was routed by Lincoln (Lincoln, AL), 75-70, in a non-league battle.
