The Stratford Red Devils (Stratford, CT) basketball crushed the visiting Joel Barlow Falcons (Redding, CT), 53-30 in Friday's league test.

The Red Devils (4-5) will now prepare for their test against Pomperaug (Southbury, CT). The Panthers go into the Southwest test with a 1-6 record. In their last test, Pomperaug was trounced by Notre Dame Catholic (Fairfield, CT), 58-52, in a league test.

The Falcons now own a 2-8 record. They play next when they host Kolbe-Cathedral for a Southwest test on Tuesday, January 17. Joel Barlow will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 64-39 non-league win over Amistad (New Haven, CT). The Cougars record now stands at 8-1.
