The Owatonna Huskies basketball team scored 57 points and restricted the visiting John Marshall Rockets to 40 in the Huskies league victory on Friday.
The Huskies now sport a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mankato West for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 17. Owatonna will battle a Scarlets team coming off a 79-48 non-league win over Red Wing (Red Wing, MN). The Scarlets record now stands at 6-4.
The Rockets (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against Rosemount (Rosemount, MN). The Irish come into the non-league contest with a 3-6 record. In their last contest, Rosemount dropped by Lakeville South (Lakeville, MN), 47-36, in a non-league contest.
