South Carolina High School Basketball - St. Andrew's crushes John Paul II

January 13, 2023: Ridgeland, SC 22936

St. Andrew's Lions (Savannah, GA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host John Paul II Golden Warrriors (Ridgeland, SC), 75-24 in a non-league bout.

With the win, St. Andrew's upgrades its record to 14-1 on the season. The Lions travel to Bulloch Academy (Statesboro, GA) to clash with the Gators in a GIAA AAAA/AAA District 2 bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Gators go into the bout with a record of 4-11. Bulloch Academy lost 48-25 in their recent non-league bout against Trinity Christian (Dublin, GA)

Next up, the Golden Warrriors clash with the Palmetto Christian Academy (Mt. Pleasant, SC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 17. John Paul II will attempt to upgrade on its 1-10 season record. The go into the bout with a 0-8 record after their 83-37 non-league loss to Christian Academy (Myrtle Beach, SC).
