With the win, Poth upgrades its record to 7-3 on the season. The Pirates host Poteet (Poteet, TX) to clash with the Aggies in a 3A Region IV District 27 bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Aggies go into the bout with a record of 7-15. Poteet lost 40-37 in their recent league bout against South San Antonio West (San Antonio, TX)

Next up, the Indians/Squaws clash with the Karnes City Badgers (Karnes City, TX) in a 3A Region IV District 27 bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Jourdanton will attempt to upgrade on its 10-10 season record. The Badgers go into the bout with a 16-8 record after their 59-42 non-league loss to Goliad (Goliad, TX).
