Spotswood Chargers (Spotswood, NJ) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Kennedy Memorial Mustangs (Iselin, NJ), 64-43 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Spotswood upgrades its record to 8-4 on the season. The Chargers host Somerville (Somerville, NJ) to play the Pioneers in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 14. The Pioneers go into the bout with a record of 3-4.

Next up, the Mustangs play the Steinert Spartans (Hamilton, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 16. Kennedy Memorial will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record. The Spartans go into the bout with a 3-8 record after their 57-40 league loss to Princeton (Princeton, NJ).
