The King Philip Regional Warriors (Wrentham, MA) basketball nipped the host Milford Hawks (Milford, MA), 61-55 in Friday's league test.

The Warriors (6-2) will now prepare for their test against Xaverian Brothers (Westwood, MA). The Hawks go into the non-league test with a 3-3 record. In their last test, Xaverian Brothers was tipped by Malden Catholic (Malden, MA), 72-51, in a league test.

The Hawks now own a 4-5 record. They play next when they host Mansfield for a Hockomock test on Tuesday, January 17. Milford will encounter a Hornets squad coming off a 68-55 non-league win over Bishop Feehan (Attleboro, MA). The Hornets record now stands at 10-1.
