Washington High School Basketball - King's can't hold off Overlake

The Overlake Owls basketball team scored 62 points and restricted the visiting King's Knights to 59 in the Owls league victory on Friday.
The Owls now sport a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sammamish for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 14. Overlake will battle a RedHawks team coming off a 73-37 league win over Foster (Tukwila, WA). The RedHawks record now stands at 6-4.
The Knights (10-4) will now prepare for their contest against Cedar Park Christian (Bothell, WA). The Eagles come into the 1A Emerald Sound contest with a 0-7 record. In their last contest, Cedar Park Christian was nudged by Overlake (Redmond, WA), 65-51, in a league contest.
