Memphis East Mustangs (Memphis, TN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Kingsbury Falcons (Memphis, TN), 86-21 in a league bout.

With the win, Memphis East upgrades its record to 15-5 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Christian Brothers (Memphis, TN) to play the Purple Wave in a non-league bout on Monday, January 16. The Purple Wave go into the bout with a record of 14-4. Christian Brothers lost 49-47 in their recent league bout against Briarcrest Christian (Eads, TN)

Next up, the Falcons play the White Station Spartans (Memphis, TN) in a 4A District 16 bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Kingsbury will attempt to upgrade on its 3-10 season record.
