The Kirby Trojans (Kirby, AR) basketball crushed the visiting Mount Ida Lions (Mount Ida, AR), 61-31 in Friday's league test.
The Trojans (7-5) will now prepare for their test against Lafayette County (Stamps, AR). The Cougars go into the 1A Region 7 test with a 11-2 record. In their last test, Lafayette County walloped Mineral Springs (Mineral Springs, AR), 63-62, in a league test.
The Lions now own a 3-6 record. They play next when they host Saline County Christian HomeSchool for a Freelance test on Saturday, January 14. Mount Ida will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 81-44 league loss to Little Rock HomeSchool (Little Rock, AR). The Warriors record now stands at 0-7.
