The Nazareth Swifts (Nazareth, TX) basketball crushed the visiting Kress Kangaroos (Kress, TX), 76-29 in Friday's league test.
The Swifts (11-5) will now prepare for their test against Lazbuddie (Lazbuddie, TX). The Longhorns go into the 1A Region I District 4 test with a 3-5 record. In their last test, Lazbuddie was trounced by Hart (Hart, TX), 64-20, in a league test.
The Kangaroos now own a 5-12 record. They play next when they host Happy for a 1A Region I District 4 test on Tuesday, January 17. Kress will encounter a Cowboys squad coming off a 55-35 league win over Springlake-Earth (Earth, TX). The Cowboys record now stands at 13-6.
