With the victory, South Pike improves its record to 12-7 on the campaign. The Eagles host North Pike (Summit, MS) to battle the Jaguars in a 4A Region 6 battle on Tuesday, January 17. The Jaguars come into the battle with a record of 1-16. North Pike lost 52-44 in their recent league battle against Wingfield (Jackson, MS)

The Bulldogs (10-11) will now prepare for their battle against Raymond (Raymond, MS). The Rangers come into the 4A Region 6 battle with a 15-6 record. In their last battle, Raymond prevailed over Biloxi (Biloxi, MS), 73-70, in a non-league battle.
